What We Do

EEA is a platform that bridges the gab between the research accomplished by senior undergraduate and graduate engineering’s and launching a successful business enterprise.

This is achieved through a series of processes that engages the members of the club by using integrated thinking approaches that help shape up the value proposition of the enterprise, validate the technical aspect of the research, and finally provide means and sources for funding. This is achieved through inviting key guest speakers, angel investors and people with proven experience in this field that will share real/application scenarios and case studies researches may find applicable.

EEA is also interested in engaging the local communities in the Okanagan area with the members of the club in order to help researches sense the type and sort of problems business need solutions for and create an ecosystem where ideas spark.

Through different commercialization processes/techniques the members will be able to identify the problems, understand market trends, provide roadmaps and to create a value proposition and seek financial means to ensure a healthy and sustainable flow of resources throughout the lifespan of a new project.

Moreover, Workshops, seminars and case studies will be provided to allow students to network with the community and thus provide meaningful impact and sense of the challenges students face throughout the project.

Finally, the EEA core function is to share the educational processes and enable students to thrive in challenging careers through leadership and managerial skills that may be applicable to situations projects imply knowledge about.
